Came in Angouleme to relax and have fun, this great budget hotel was nice base for doing it. The venue had a central location by the lift waiting areas.

The breakfast itself was expensive, can definitely be improved.

The location was great - ease of access to Musee du Papier. The room was huge with a kitchenette when upgraded. A microwave oven, a dishwasher, and coffee/tea makers worked well.

The staff were courteous and polite during my stay. The location was great for Angouleme, close to river and trendy pizza place, the lift waiting areas and centre of town.

The hotel was unique with magnificent views and an unbeatable location in the valley close to the river. Location: the venue was short walk to river walks and the business districts. Dined at Le Chergui, it was a 10-15 minute walking distance from the venue.

The room was spacious with plenty of storage and good facilities. It was surprisingly quiet, and the bed was comfortable. The receptionist was friendly and quickly provided extra pillows when requested. The disabled room was a good size and had everything we needed.

Architectually the complex is a stunning conversion from a ruined abbey. Ten out ten for this. Everything is brandnew, a pleasure. Positioned on the river, easy to find.

Furnishing the small units could have been done much better. Visitors should be aware that an uncomfortable sofabed awaits them, which takes up most of the available space when pulled out. The promised dishwasher is more a gadget than practical, as it is postioned on the floor under the sink, unless you fancy loading and unloading on your knees. There is no need though. Walk uphill to the old town where there is restaurant galore. I was greatly looking forward to staying in Appart'city Angouleme, but was glad to leave. Yet, I would return, but will then book a unit for 4 people. This ensures a proper bed.

The property's location was perfect, on the hill. We could drink something at L'agape, located 1 km away. The room with a kitchenette.

Perfect and exceptionally nice location, really close to Musee du Papier. Good restaurant at a walking distance from the hotel. Unique building and brand-new rooms with good shower.

Great location near the train station, perfect for solo travelers. Nice courtyard to relax in. Efficient and helpful staff. Clean rooms with all advertised facilities. Loved the mini dishwasher.
